An Orlando favorite for over five years! Grab your friends and family and come out and cut a rug at the twice-a-month Saturday dance offered by Swing Era Productions! They’ll be playing the best in swing, big band, blues, jump blues, and early rock-n-roll for your dancing enjoyment. From slow tempos to fast, there is something for everyone. This is a family friendly event, in a smoke and alcohol free environment. It offers tons of energy in a social atmosphere!
The Orlando Swing Dance An Orlando favorite since 2001! The Orlando Swing Dance was founded by local Instructors Rob & Dawn Shrewsbury of Flying Footwork Productions to provide quality swing dance events and lessons to the Central Florida area.
In 2008 Rob & Dawn retired from event productions and transfered the dances to Swing Era Productions. Our goal continues the vision set in motion by Rob & Dawn, to keep the spirit of the swing era music and dancing alive! We hope to share our excitement and enthusiasm of this art form with you through The Orlando Swing Dance!
Looking to get started with swing dancing? This is your chance! These dances features a free beginner swing dance class (8 to 9pm) that covers all the essentials from footwork to lead/follow.
